Level: Beginner, with some wet felting experience helpful.
Class description: Learn basic wet felting techniques that can be transferred to other projects. You will learn how to use a flat “resist” (a 2 dimensional piece of plastic sandwiched between layers of wool, which when removed, forms a 3 dimensional vessel), how to lay out or orient layers of fiber to shrink and form a shape, and how to “heal” a cut edge of felt. You will go home with a 3-4” diameter felted wool bowl.

¾-1 ounce of wool roving (about 1/2 ounce each of 2 colors) - available to purchase in the shop ($3/oz.)
Wet felting kit – provided by instructor ($7/kit)
