About the event

Learn to create a soft frame life-sized, baby skunk with charm and character with Claudia Marie Lenart of Claudia Marie Felt.   This workshop is suitable for beginner-intermediate. You will learn how to build a skunk with wool layers and how to sculpt wool to create  features and shape. You will also learn how to blend alpaca fiber and how to apply the fiber to appear realistic. You will learn how to use a reverse needle to add furriness to the skunk. You will learn to work with eyes on a dark animal and how to create a fluffy tail. The wool, alpaca and wooden skewer can be purchased from Woolology. You will need to bring a felting surface, a multi-needle felting tool, 4 40 spiral needles, (you may also bring 38 star if you prefer), 1 42 triangle needle and one each, 38 reverse and 40 reverse needles and sharp craft scissors. Felting surface, Multi needle tool and felting needles available for purchase at Wool-ology. Class fee: $95.
